WHERE IN THE WORLD IS VIRGINIA'S #1 FAN IN GEORGIA

Where in the world is Virginia's #1 fan in Georgia, I think he is missing in action or must be staying in the woods all day hunting. We heard from him once last week and then he dropped off the face of the earth. Mom and dad went down to Wal-Mart yesterday afternoon to buy the groveries for this years Thanksgiving feast and it took them 45 minutes just to check out, now that's why I go down there as early as I do. I don't have allot of patience standing in line. Well are going have three very spring like days in a row here in CH before a cold front comes threw on Friday, highs will be in the upper 60 or low 70's the next three days. I don't mind the warm weather at all. The Virginia basketball team will be back in action tonight at home against the Drexel Dragons and the JPJ. Speaking of bloggers that have been missing in action, where has Donna been. MICKEY

1789: New Jersey became the first state to ratify the Bill of Rights.
1962: Newspapers reported that President John Kennedy had contributed every dollar earned in government salary since 1947 to charity, including his White House salary.
1967: The U.S. population reached 200-million.
1969: Soccer legend Pele scored his 1,000th career goal in Rio de Janiero.
2003: A woman in Murcia, Spain, turned down a $7,000 three-hour shopping spree at the local mall because she was too busy. She said she had schedule problems and was too busy to waste the morning. The runner-up gladly accepted the prize.

Health Tip: Why Get an Annual Physical?
Even though you may be feeling healthy, it's important to get regular physical exams to help ensure that you stay that way.

The U.S. National Library of Medicine says regular physicals will allow your doctor to:

* Check regularly for signs of disease. Early detection often helps improve the chances of recovery.
* Determine your risk of future health problems, and possibly, to prevent them.
* Talk with you about your lifestyle, and to recommend changes.
* Give you any needed vaccinations.
* Get to know your history, in the event that you become seriously ill.

Unconditional living
Does what you're doing need to play any role in how you feel? What if you could be filled with joy no matter what the situation, no matter what you were doing? Is that really possible?

Of course it is. Your capacity for joy is not dependent on any particular situation, activity or outcome. Certainly there are conditions and results which you desire. Yet they do not make you or break you as a person.

The essential joy of your living existence is unconditional and all encompassing. You can rise above the fray, you can detach yourself from mere circumstances. And when you do there is a blessed freedom which gives power, focus and effectiveness to all you do.

Don't ignore reality or run away from it. Simply transcend it. You are more than your circumstances. You are more than your problems, more than your possessions, more than your burdens. To the extent that you allow your spirit to rise above your circumstances, you're able to make the very best of them no matter what they may be.
