COLONIALS FALL IN VOLLEYBALL ACTION

The Colonial Heights Colonials volleyball team fell to Deep Run last night 3-1 at Deep Run in the Central Region volleyball tournament, the other representative from the Central District Thomas Dale beat Mills Godwin 3-0. We did get a little rain during the night here in Colonial Heights but it wasn't to much, just enough to wet the streets. My hamstring feels a little better this morning but I have a another problem, I have aggravated something in the left side of my neck and it is very sore. I have posted a photo of fellow blogger A.G. having a discussion with South Florida's Coach Levitt, the coach looks animated. Also as Al said yesterday in comment section Lillian Ellison, better known to the world as The Fabulous Moolah, has died at was 84, she held the WWF Title for 28 straight years. MICKEY

Fitness Tip
Increasing your daily activities like walking the dog, parking the car at the far end of the lot and taking the stairs can add up to significant improvements in weight, body fat, cholesterol and fitness. Strap on a pedometer and set a goal for the number of strides you want to complete in a day. That little gadget will be a constant reminder to get up and move. It’s a great little motivator and usually costs under $30.00.

I Like the way AG is puffing his chest out - almost to say go ahead knock into me!

He was begging for an unsportsmanlike penalty against the Cincinnait quarterback for throwing a flag that had been thrown against an offensive tackle for holding but none of us saw it so I was attempting to explain to him we can't throw a flag for something we didn't see.

And no, I won't be getting a christmas card from him. :)

Well, I guess this better than the last time I saw you on ESPN when you were trying to calm the Louisville coach down after another official on your crew allowed the PR to return a punt for TD after waving for fair catch.

I might add AG remained in control that night. And, for those who didn't see the game AG was not the official who had the brain cramp.

you are right Keith. That was an UGLY night. I knew within the first few minutes of the Louisville coach ranting and raving that something BAD had happened, I just didn't know what.
