HAPPY THANKSGIVING, GO PACKERS

I hope everybody has a Happy Thanksgiving and remembers not to eat to much today. Also don't forget to give thanks to someone or something on this Thanksgiving day. Even though it is Thanksgiving it is a busy sports day also. Today the Green Bay Packers will visit Detroit Lions at 12:30pm in the 1st of three NFL games today, a win would give the Packers a 4 game lead in the NFC North with just 5 games left in the year. The other two NFL games today have the New York Jets visiting Dallas and Indianapolis Colts visiting Atlanta in the nightcap. There is also a pretty big college football game tonight when #11 USC visits #7 Arizona State. The Richmond Renegades are also in action tonight when the visit Fayetteville to play the FireAntz, the same two teams will meet tomorrow night at the Richmond Coliseum. Who would ever thought that it would be 75 degrees on Thanksgiving day, you had better enjoy todays warm temps because it isn't suppose to get out of the 40's the next three days. I did make a quick trip down to Wal-Mart this morning and believe it or not there was a pretty good crowd down there, it looked like allot of people picking up some last minute items for there Thanksgiving dinner. Never neglect the little things. Never skimp on that extra effort, that additional few minutes, that soft word of praise or thanks, that delivery of the very best that you can do. It does not matter what others think, it is of prime importance, however, what you think about you. You can never do your best, which should always be your trademark, if you are cutting corners and shirking responsibilities. You are special. Act it. Never neglect the little things.
Og Mandino

Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.
Brian Tracy

Make use
The very best way to be thankful for the good things you have is to make use of them. The essence of each blessing is the positive possibility it holds.

The best way to be thankful for the love in your life is to live and express that love in each moment. Give your time, your thoughts, your presence and your feelings to the people you love, for those are the gifts that will truly be treasured.

The best way to be thankful for your life is to make something of it. Every day you have the opportunity to live with meaning and with purpose.

Every day you have the opportunity to make positive, beneficial use of the goodness that fills your world. The more of that goodness you appreciate and utilize, the more that goodness will grow.

The way to sincerely give thanks is to give your energy to the positive possibilities. For you have the power to bring those possibilities to life.

And to do so is, after all, the greatest form of gratitude. For it acknowledges the richest blessings, and makes them more and more.
Ralph Marston
