VIRGINIA TECH WINS THE COASTAL DIVSION OF THE ACC

The Virginia Tech Hokies defeated the Virginia Cavaliers 33-21 yesterday winning the Coastal Division of the ACC and will play Boston College in the ACC championship game next Saturday. At times Virginia played well but Virginia Tech just had to much team speed for the Cavs, I don't think UVA had a receiver open all day. On the defensive side the Hokies seemed to have a receiver open every play and they were covered they just out jumped the smaller Cavs defender, and they made sure for the most part Chris Long wasn't going to beat them. In other college football games of interest yesterday East Carolina beat Tulane 35-12 and finished there regular season with 7-5 mark and Georgia beat Georgia Tech 31-17 and there regular season with a 10-2 mark. In the I-AA playoffs Richmond beat Eastern Kentucky 31-14 , with the win the Spiders advanced to the 2nd round where they will play at Wofford. In the NFL today the Redskins are at Tampa Bay, the Skins really need to win this one to keep there playoff hopes alive. The Virginia basketball team suffered it's first lost of the season against Seton hall last night falling to the Pirates 74-60, it just wasn't a good day to be a Cavalier fan. In hockey action last night the Renegades beat Knoxville 7-4, there were plenty of fisticuffs in this one in the 3rd period, the Gades are until Friday night when Huntsville comes to town. My left foot is quite sore this morning after being on my feet all day yesterday. MICKEY

Perceptions
What if your limitations were all an illusion? What if you were being held back, not by your circumstances, but by your mind? Though it is easy to recognize the perceptual bias of another, your own perceptions are more difficult to distinguish from reality.

In many ways the world you see is of your own making. Consider what that could mean. The obstacles you perceive may not really be there if you could get your mind beyond them. The limitations against which you struggle could be gone the instant you change your viewpoint.

What may appear to be cold, hard, immutable reality could melt away and be transformed by the power of your own perceptions. Though it is foolish to ignore reality, it is tragic to be frozen by it.

What if you could change the world and didn't know it? What if you suddenly figured it out? Look beyond the obvious. Look beyond your assumptions. Step outside the window of your perceptions and marvel at the vastness of possibility.
