PACKERS CONTINUE TO ROLL, REDSKINS BLOW ANOTHER ONE

The Green Bay Packers looked like a well oiled machine in there game yesterday beating the Minnesota Vikings 34-0 and improving to 8-1 on the season. With the win the Packers are tied with the Cowboys for the best record in the NFC at 8-1 and they also have a 2 game lead over Detroit in there division. The Redskins on the other hand lost another game they should have won 33-25 to the Eagles, the Skins lead most of the game but allowed and Eagles TD on screen pass from 60 yards away which lead to there demise, the Skins just don't have that killer instinct. The Virginia basketball won it's opener yesterday beating Vermont 90-72. Jimmy Johnson won yesterday's race at Phoenix and by doing so just about wrapped on the championship, he will go to next weeks final race at Homestead with an 86 point lead over Jeff Gordon. It looks like it is going to fell like spring the first three days of this week with highs in the mid 60's to the low 70's before it cools off on Thursday. It looked like we were having a Mickey's Place convention over here yesterday so many fellow bloggers came by. I have posted a link to the football photos Al took Friday night below. Also basketball practice starts today for the Colonials. MICKEY

Freedom in general may be defined as the absence of obstacles to the realization of desires.

Is it really so bad?
Is there anything you need to do, but don't really want to do? Is there something that could bring success and accomplishment, but you just can't bring yourself to do it?

Why not? Is it really so bad? Or have you just become so accustomed to avoiding it, that you've created a block against it? Habits and attitudes perpetuate themselves. And often we find it necessary to break free.

Chances are, whatever you're avoiding, you've probably done many other things that are just as risky or unpleasant or difficult. It's not the thing itself that's stopping you -- it's you. In fact, some of the actions you take to avoid it, are probably just as uncomfortable as doing it in the first place.

Whatever needs to be done -- do it! Break free of your own limiting attitude. You can handle whatever challenges come your way. Stop holding yourself back, and learn to enjoy the actions that lead to success.
