JOHN EXTENDS HIS LEAD INTO THE BOWL SEASON

Well the regular season is finished and John leads Jeff by 5 games heading into the Bowl Season.  The only other players less than 10 games back are Keith 7 out, Kevin 8 out and Sean 9 out with everyone else 10 or more games back.  This week there allot of weekly winners because of the low number of games with all the winners going 12-4 and they where (John,Keith,Sean,Craig,George,Tom,Phillips,Steve,Chiz,Larry and Lee) while Joy had the roughest week going 7-9.  John also holds the tiebreaker in this years contest by winning the most weeks during the regular season.  I will be sending out the Bowl Game Schedule on Monday and I will need everyone's  picks back in by Wednesday December 17 by 9pm.  Thanks, MICKEY

JOHN HAS THE BEST AND NOW IS THE LEADER OF THE PACK

Well after 14 weeks of this year contest John has overtaken Jeff for the top spot and now leads Jeff by 3 games with just 1 more week of picks before the Bowl Season.  Bobby, Keith and Kevin are within striking distance but need to make up a few games this week before the Bowl Season.  This past week John has the best week going 16-9 while Scott and Jason had the roughest week going 9-16, John also leads in the tie breaker standings as well.  There is a big log jam from positions 14th-24th with only 2 games separating those 10 spots in the standings.  There are not many games this week but there are tough ones.  MICKEY

Well heading into week 13 of this years contest Jeff holds a 3 game lead over John, a 5 game lead over Bobby, a 6 game lead over Sean and 7 game lead over Keith and Kevin with everybody else 11 or more games back.  This past week John and Keith had the best weeks going 17-7 while Neddo had the roughest week going 8-16.  A couple of players moved into the top 10 this week, George in the 7th spot and Ricky in the 9th spot.  It looks like the list of contenders in this years contest is down to 6 unless someone can make a run for the top this week.  MICKEY

JEFF ADDS TO HIS LEAD

Well after 11 weeks of this years contest Jeff's lead is back up 6 games over Bobby and John with Sean 7 games back.  I have to say since Jeff took the lead after week 6 he has been very steady and consistent and he has not beaten himself.  This past week Steve and Larry had the best week both going 18-5 which was very impressive while Chris had the toughest week going 8-15.  So far in the 11 weeks of this years contest we have had 17 different weekly winners which is pretty good.  It looks like there are some pretty tough games again this week.  MICKEY

JEFF TAKES OVER THE LEAD

Well after 6 weeks of this years contest Jeff has taken over 1st place by himself and he now leads Jason and Gerald by 3 games.  Joining them in the top 5 are Tom who moved to 4th place and Bobby who is now in 5th place.  Gerald had the best week going 15-7 while I had the worst week going 8-14 which I have to say was a bit embarrassing.  There sure where allot of upsets this week and by the looks of next weeks games there could be some more next week as well.  Looking at the standings positions 9-27 are only separated by 4 games.  MICKEY

CHIZ HOLDS A GAME LEAD HEADING TO THE BOWL SEASON

Well the regular season is done for this years contest and the only thing left is the Bowl Season and Chiz will head into the final portion of the contest with a 4 game lead over Craig.  Besides Craig it looks like The Chief (-6), Andrew (-7) and Keith (-8) are the only ones who have a legitimate shot at catching Chiz.  There is a pretty big logjam from 8-15 place with only 3 games separating those positions.  Also we have new person in the lead for the final spot in this years contest, Neddo in his 1st year in the contest has dropped to the rear after Jonathan's big week.  Jonathan had the best week going 12-2 while Murph and Larry had the toughest weeks going 6-8.  I will sen out the Bowl Game Schedule out as soon as everything is finalized.  MICKEY

CHIZ CONTINUES TO LEAD

Well after 13 weeks of this years contest Chiz has a 7 game lead over Keith, Craig and The Chief with Andrew 8 games back and Murph 9 games out.  Steve had the best week going 18-6 and Julianne was right behind him going 17-7 while I had the toughest week going 10-14 which I have to say is a bit embarrassing.  With Steve's win this week 17 of the 28 players in this years contest have won at least 1 week which is pretty good.  Jonathan continues to hold on to the final spot by 2 games over Jonathan.  I thought last weeks slate of games was pretty tough but this week may be tougher.  MICKEY

CHIZ LIKES IT AT THE TOP

Well after taking the lead in this years contest last week it appears Chiz likes being the lead dog and has extended his his lead over Keith to 5 games.  The list of contenders in this years contest is dwindling each week and there only 5 players within 9 games of the top spot.  This past week Chiz and The Chief had the best week both going 20-4 while Phillips had the toughest week going 12-12.  I had a pretty tough week myself falling all the way to 16th place and last years champion Tom looks to move into the top 10 next week.  The battle for the final spot remains close with Neddo and Jonathan.  There are some very tough games this week.  MICKEY

CHIZ TAKES OVER THE LEAD

Well after 11 weeks of the contest we have a new leader, Chiz now leads Keith by 2 games after going 176 this week.  Craig and Andrew are 6 games back followed by Murph who is 8 games out and The Chief who is 9 games back with everybody else 10 or more games back.  I would say the top 6 players have shot win and if anybody else wants to have a shot at the title they need start making there move to the top very soon.  This week Chiz, Tom and Jeff all went 17-6 having the best week while Neddo 8-15 and is now in a good battle with Jonathan for last place.  MICKEY

KEITH HOLDS ON TO THE LEAD, THE CHIEF HAS THE BEST WEEK

Well 8 weeks are now in the books in this years contest and Keith holds a 1 game lead over Chiz.  The Chief had the best week going 14-7 while Jeff, Chris, Guy and Phillips had the toughest week going 8-13.  It is getting pretty tight between positions 3-8 with those positions only being separated by 3 games and there is another pretty big log jam with positions 10-17 only being separated by 3 games.  There where allot of upsets in yesterdays and games and I have to say the biggest letdown of the day was Virginia blowing a 22 point lead.  Here are the updated standings and next weeks games.  MICKEY
