IT'S FREEZING HERE IN COLONIAL HEIGHTS

For the 1st time this fall/winter it's freezing here in Colonial Heights, this morning the temp was 31.8 when I got up which gave a shock to my system when I went out to get the paper. It is going be few degrees colder tonight when it i expected to get down around 28. My body still hasn't gotten use to the time change yet, I have woke up the past three mornings around 4:40am. My neck is feeling a little better this morning, I put the heating pad on it for about an hour which made it feel a bit better but it still sore. Scott has been pretty quite on the blog lately, he and Dusty must be doing allot of hunting. I rode by where the Olive Garden is going here in CH and they are making some pretty good progress on that building, it wouldn't surprise me if they weren't open in 3 or 4 months. Stay warm this morning. MICKEY

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could.

Fitness Tip
Physiologists have concluded that many of the "normal" symptoms of aging may be in part symptoms of inactivity. Inactivity is associated with decreased heart and respiratory function, increased cholesterol, decreased joint flexibility, decreased immune functions, and irregular sleep patterns. So maintain an active lifestyle to reduce your risks of debilitating diseases.

Obtaining value
For anything worth having, anything of value, there is a price to pay. If there were no price, there would be no value. The price is not arbitrarily imposed on the thing of value. The price is in fact a big part of what gives it the value.

If diamonds were scattered around on the ground everywhere, they would be worth no more than pieces of gravel. The rarity of diamonds, and the resulting price that must be paid to obtain them, are what make them so valuable.

Trying to obtain something of value without paying the price will only lead to frustration and disappointment. Much of the misery in the world today is the result of such misguided quests.

For anything of value, be willing to pay the price. Be grateful and enthusiastic about paying the price. Because without the price to pay, there is nothing of value.

at6:10am this morning when i went out to the garage to do my workout it was a mild 36 degrees. at that tempature wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt it takes about 5 minutes to warm up. mmickey maybe if you spent 5 minutes running around getting the neighbors papers in for them by the time you got to yours you'd be warm!
