VIRGINIA UPSETS ARIZONA, I AM A BIT SORE

The Virginia Cavalier basketball team improved to 3-0 on the young season with a 75-72 win over the Arizona Wildcats last night, the Cavs lead 42-31 at the half and held on in the 2nd half for the win. Next up for the Cavs are the Drexel Dragons Tuesday night at the JPJ Arena. There were some very good college football games yesterday but none bigger for ACC fans than Boston Colleges 20-17 win over Clemson which gave BC the Atlantic Divsion Championship, BC will play the winner of next weeks huge game between Virginia and Virginia Tech which will be for the Coastal Division Championship. There was another big upset as well yesterday as #3 Oklahoma fell to Texas Tech 34-27. In the NFL today the Green Bay Packers are at home against the Carolina Panthers and the Washington Redskins are in Dallas to play the Cowboys, that sure could be an ugly game. Today will be the final race of the season for the Nascar Nextel Cup Series, all Jimmy Johnson has to do is finish 18th or better to win his 2nd consecutive championship. Jeff Burton captured yesterdays Busch race at Homestead. I didn't know making soup could make you so sore but my right arm and shoulder are hurting form stirring the soup and left hip is still very sore from that treadmill incident earlier in the week, I think I have a deep hip bruise. Health Tip
Did you know that fruits and veggies have fluid? Some of these nutritional goodies are over 90 percent water so they may help quench that thirst. Grapes, pineapple, watermelon, celery, and lettuce are just a few. Not only will they satisfy you when you’re thirsty, but they also count towards your “5-a-day.”

Thoughts of self
Imagine how it would be to go through this entire day without ever thinking of yourself. Think of all the concerns that would suddenly drop away. You'd be free to speak and act without worrying about what others would think. Your courage would soar because you'd be completely immune to fear and rejection. There would be no time wasted in being angry or taking offense or worrying. The limitations you've placed on yourself would completely disappear.

Just think of how much you could accomplish. Just think of the possibilities you could fulfill. Just think of the clear and refreshing sense of freedom it would bring.

The fact is, you can do it today. You can indeed be free of your own limitations, free from useless anger, worry, and despair. Decide to expand your focus beyond those familiar old self concerns which hold you down. Lose yourself in your own positive possibilities, and see what great things you can make happen today.
