SOUTH RICHMOND HEADING TO AMERICAN LEGION WORLD SERIES

Well it took one more game than South Richmond though it would but Post 137 will be heading to the 2008 American Legion Baseball World Series in Shelby, North Carolina later this week. After losing to Edison, New Jersey yesterday afternoon 15-4 Post 137 responded with a 20-12 win last night. It wasn't easy for Post 137 either they fell behind 8-0 in the top of the 1st inning and trailed most of the game before taking the lead in the bottom of the 8th inning for good, I did make it up to the stadium an saw the final game. Well it looks like Tropical Storm Fay is going to stay well to our south the next few days and it doesn't look like we are going to get any of the effects from this storm, however it does look like fellow blogger Scott might get a little rain from this system. I am going to post the college football games that I am going pick for next week to the top of the right column tomorrow, I am going to pick 10 games a week. I am always going to pick games involving East Carolina, Georgia, Virginia & Virginia Tech. I will pick the scores by Thursday morning each week because of Thursday night games. MICKEY
