EDWARDS WINS AGAIN, REDSKINS LOOK TERRIBLE
Carl Edwards made it clean sweep this weekend at the Bristol Motor Speedway winning both the Nascar Sprint Cup and Nationwide series races. In winning last nights race Carl got Kyle Busch a little upset by the way he passed him to take the lead and go on to the victory, in the cool down lap Busch rammed his car into the side of Edwards car only to have Carl spin him out. I really didn't see anything wrong with the way Edwards passed him, it's been going on for years at Bristol. In the race for the final spot in the chase Clint Bowyer leads David Ragan by 12 points. I thought the Packers look bad last week but I think the Redskins looked worst last night, the Skins offense was non existent last night and the defense didn't fare much better as the Panthers beat the Skins 47-3, thats just embarrassing. The United States mens basketball team recaptured the gold medal today in Olympics with a 118-107 win over Spain, there is no reason the U.S. should ever lose the gold medal in basketball with the amount of good players they have to chose from. In baseball action last night South Richmond Post 137 fell to Sumter, SC 9-6, South Richmond will play Jonesboro, Arkansas today at 5pm. If anybody would like to pick against me in my college football picks of the week ( dad & Andrew have already sent there picks in) you can just e-mail me with your picks. MICKEY

Picks on the way.
the rir race when busch and jr got together was just racing and i though jr handled it pretty well. i also wondered how busch would have reacted if it was the other way around and now i know!!!! no class!!!! edwards moved up a notch on my list with his win and actions last night!!!!!!
I agree with Al - Kyle is a cry baby.
What happened to my boy Busch, what did he do?
the whole busch family is a cry baby. edwards should have hit him harder.
Kyle was upset with Edwards bump and run and ran into the side of Edwards car after the race.
We had waffles for breakfast before I knew it was "National Waffle Day".
Way to go Louise. I made pancakes for Andrew.
If you haven't read Mickey's scrolling message read it now because it has a important message for teachers.
Mr Ed needs to grow up. Kyle will put in him in the wall next chance he gets
I think Claire has that backwards.Waa,Waa,Waa,Waa...That's Kyle Busch crying in case you didn't know. Please advise all teachers you know to read Mickey's scroll so they will not forget the importance of tomorrow.
