I HAD TO PUT A SWEATHSHIRT ON THIS MORNING

Well it was a bit cool this morning when I decided to head down to Wal-Mart so I had to put a sweatshirt on, it was cool crisp 62 degrees when I went at 6am. They did have the donuts ready so I got me a couple chocolate frosted ones and they were very good, maybe even better than Dunkin Donuts. It's hard to believe that college football is just three weeks away, hopefully I will be able to go to the UVA vs USC game but if not I will watch it on TV. I have decided this year I am going to pick 10 college games a week and give you my predictions of those games. I will always pick games involving UVA, East Carolina, Georgia & Virginia Tech and then I will pick some other games of interest finish out the 10 games that I will pick. You can pick against me in the comments section if you like if you think you can pick better than me. There is a part time blogger who will be working the Bowling Green VS Pittsburgh game on Aug 30. The finals are now set for this years BIB tournament, it will be Varina vs CBC American for the 2008 championship. There will be another local team in this years 2008 American Legion Mid-Atlantic Regional which starts Thursday morning at Shepherd Stadium, South Richmond Post 137 went undefeated in win this years state tournament capturing the automatic bid, they will join host team Post 284 and both Post 137 & Post 284 will play Thursday evening. RAin washed out qualifying at Watkins Glen yesterday so points leader Kyle Busch will start on the pole. Have a nice day. MICKEY

Taking Action
Our friends at Nike said it best: 'Just do it.'

One Step at a Time. A poor memory is often the result of trying to do too many things at once. Forget multi-tasking! Concentrate on one thing at a time. Make a list, and check off each task as you complete it.

Start small
Even the smallest accomplishment has great value. Because it sets in motion a positive momentum.

Once you begin to create value, you easily and naturally move toward creating even more value. The best thing about success is that it provides greater opportunity for even more success.

Go ahead and start small, and if you're unable to start small, then start tiny. The point is, do whatever you can with whatever you have, and that will be plenty to get you moving in a positive, productive direction.

There is always something you can do. There is always some small step forward that you can make right now.

Your ability to accomplish does not get used up. In fact, the more you use it, the more powerful it grows.

Create a little bit of success, and experience how great it feels. From that positive, empowered place, there's no limit to where you can go.

Al is right - Krispy Kream are the best.

The college picks are a good idea. I believe Andrew will forward to particpating in that feature.

Also, Andrew does his own pool if you're interested drop him an email.

He selects 10 local HS (a lot of CD games), 10 college (Hokies, Hoos, and Pirates are regulars), and all the pro games.

KRISPY KREAM DOESN'T EVEN COMPARE TO WAL-MARTS DONUTS.
