VIRGINIA PLAYS TERRIBLE, MICHGAN STUNNED

The Virginia Cavaliers had another bad day at the office yesterday falling to Wyoming 23-3, the Cavs just looked terrible. Offensively I think it has been the worst they have looked in years, they couldn't do anything right. It was like they haven't been practicing for the last few weeks at all, I am starting to believe that Groh must go. It's a good thing Duke is coming to town next week, if they lose to Duke, they might get rid of him now. In what may have been the biggest upset ever in college football Appalachian State beat Michigan yesterday 34-32, Michigan was the #5 team in the country in Div I. Appalachian State are the 2 time defending national champs in I-AA and it was the first time ever Michigan had played I-AA school. Virginia Tech beat East Carolina 17-7 in a game that East Carolina could have one if it wasn't for a terrible pass that was returned for a TD by Tech, a pass that never should have been thrown. ECU's defense held Virginia Tech to just 34 yards rushing, the Pirates will play host to UNC next Saturday night. Georgia didn't have any problems yesterday in beating Oklahoma State 35-14 but Richmond fell to Vanderbilt 41-14. Jeff Burton won last nights Busch race at the California Speedway, there was a very bad crash in the race in which Brad Keselowski was injured and taken to the hospital with a leg injury. Al & Donna made it to the beach in the overnight hours, I was sleep so i don't know when they got here. I think we are going to the Lone Cedar tonight for supper, they reopened earlier this week. Scott and his crew are at Jeckle Island this weekend. MICKEY

Shut out all of your past except that which will help you weather your tomorrows.
