I AM HEADING TO EAST CAROLINA TODAY, CRAWFORD COUNTY WINS AGAIN

Well I will be heading down to East Carolina today to see the North Carolina Tar Heels meet the East Carolina Pirates on the football field. I had a choice of going to the Duke at UVA or UNC at ECU and I thought this would be a better game to see. The biggest game in the state today has #9 Virginia Tech traveling down to Baton Rouge to play #2 LSU tonight, that should be a good game also. The Georgia Bulldogs are also at home tonight when they welcome Steve Spurrier and his South Carolina Gamecocks to Athens, Ga at 6pm. Will there be anymore big upsets today like last weeks Appalachian State stunning victory over Michigan, I guess we will just have to wait and see. The Crawford County Eagles are now 2-0 on the young season after knocking off the Pelham Hornets last night 54-0, they might need to save some of those points for next weeks match up with the Manchester Blue Devils however Manchester got pounded last night 42-6 so things might be looking good for Crawford County this year. Down at the NC last night First Flight picked up it's 2nd win of the season beating Williamston 22-18 while Cape Hatteras fell to Mattamuskeet 14-6. Here locally L.C. Bird beat Thomas Dale 45-0 and Varina beat Matoaca 27-13, I have posted the rest of the Central District scores below. Kyle Busch won last night Busch race at RIR, Jimmy Johnson captured the pole tonight Nextel Cup race at Richmond. We have a new tropical storm which looks like it could effect the Outer Banks tommorow and Monday, I have posted the projected track of tropical storm Gabrielle. Al do you have any photos of last night action. MICKEY
