YOU MIGHT NEED A JACKET IN THE MORNING

Well it looks like you might need a jacket tomorrow morning as the temperature is suppose to drop back into the 50's tonight. I know I will have to put my sweatshirt on in the morning if it is going to be that cold because I can't stand to be cold in the morning. It also looks like by Sunday that it's going to struggle to make it out of the 70's for the high for the day. My AIP index has gone up after moving some furniture around for the last couple of days, my back is a bit sore in a few places and my shoulder is a bit tight also. Dad and Les did unload all the furniture into the living yesterday under mom's supervision, I will post some photos either later today or tomorrow of how the living looks now. The plumber and the electrician are suppose to come by today and work on the new room. I may go catch some of the JV football game tonight if I get a chance. MICKEY

There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.

1873 - The first practical typewriter was sold to customers. We think that in order to celebrate this momentous occasion, we should all hunt and peck on our word processors today ... since all typewriters in this, the Electronic Age, are pretty much impractical
1954 - A standing-room-only crowd of 84,587 arrived at Municipal Stadium in Cleveland, OH to watch the Indians play the New York Yankees. The Indians won both ends of the doubleheader: 4-1 and 3-2.
1954 - Lassie was seen on CBS-TV for the first time. Despite being called “girl” by Jeff Miller, who starred as Tommy, and Jan Clayton, who starred as Jeff's mom, Ellen, Lassie was, in reality, a male dog. In fact, there were more than a half-dozen Lassie dogs doing stunts. Lassie ran on CBS for exactly 17 years. The last show aired on September 12, 1971.

Free of regret
When tomorrow is here, what will you regret not doing today? Five years from today, what will you regret not doing right now?

Regret has no cure, but it can easily be prevented. And the time to do that is now. The most stinging form of regret is the regret for opportunities not seized, for actions not taken.

Prevent regret in the future by making the most of today. Sure there will be disappointments. Yet when you sincerely and honestly give your very best effort to life you won't have to find yourself wondering "why didn't I?"

Live fully in the present with an eye toward the future. Don't waste your time worrying about tomorrow. Rather, live now in such a way that will make tomorrow the best it can possibly be.

Accept the relatively minor inconvenience and discomfort of taking disciplined action today, and tomorrow will be wonderfully free of regret.
