VIRGINIA NOW 3-0 IN THE ACC, GEORGIA KNOCKS OFF ALABAMA

I have to say it was a pretty hot day yesterday in Charlottesville and I have a bit of red neck this morning because the sun was beating on the back of neck the whole game. The Cavaliers came out on fire building a 21-7 lead after the 1st quarter only to have Georgia Tech come back and take the lead 23-21 before Virginia was able to get a late TD to pull out the victory over the yellow Jackets 28-23. It was very good game but it was pretty hot, next up for Virginia are the Pitt Panthers next Saturday night at 7pm at home. The Georgia Bulldogs went on the road last night and won a wild won in OT last night knocking off Alabama 26-23, Georgia lead most of the game but Bama was able to tie it up late to send it to OT. In the OT Georgia's defense rose to the occasion holding Bama to a field goal and the Bulldogs scored on there 1st offensive play to pull out the victory. The East Carolina Pirates didn't fair as well yesterday falling to West Virginia 48-7, from all reports the Pirates were just out manned in this game, next week ECU will travel to Houston. Today in the NFL both the Green Bay Packers & Washington Redskins will try to improve to 3-0 on the young season, the Packers will play host to the Chargers at 1pm while the Redskins will play host to the New York Giants at 4pm. I guess the remote on the TV will get a pretty good workout today because the race is also on at 1pm so I will be flipping back in in forth between the football games and the race. They also came by yesterday and put the sheet rock up in the new room and I will post some photos of that later today. MICKEY

Make it better
If you're not satisfied with what is, then you need to get busy and visualize what can be. Replacing or improving the undesirable is much more effective than just rejecting it. Being for something works infinitely better than just complaining.

Rather than waste your time and effort on useless complaints, invest yourself in improving the situation. Moving forward will get you much farther than moving against.

There are those who complain, who take pride in being a victim. And then there are those who see the enormous opportunity that comes from making a situation better. Which approach makes the most sense to you?

If there's something you don't like, make it better. It's not that big of a step from seeing something as undesirable and visualizing how it can be better. Put some effort behind your vision. Don't just stand there complaining. Make it better!
