CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW 3-0, COLONIALS FALL

The Crawford County Eagles are now off to there best start in years with a 27-6 win over Manchester in the mud last night in Georgia, next up for the Eagles are the Lamar County Trojans at home. The Colonial Heights Colonials fell to Park View South Hill 33-20 last night, the Colonials will return home next Friday when the Armstrong Wildcats come to town. A couple of other scores of interest to bloggers, it was Varina 26 Thomas Dale 7 & Louisburg beat Manteo 36-12. I am going to see the East Carolina Pirates play the Southern Mississippi Eagles tonight at 6pm, this is key match up in CONF USA for both teams. Also today Virginia will travel down to UNC and Virginia Tech will be at home against Ohio University. The Georgia Bulldogs are at home against Western Carolina. Clint Bowyer captured the pole at Loudon yesterday for this weeks stop on the Nextel Cup Series, tomorrows race is the 1st race in the chase for the Nextel Cup. It looks like that I am going to have to pick a new template for Mickey's Place, there seems to be some type of problem with the current one which may force the change. I know there are several bloggers who don't like change but I might not have a choice in the matter. We did get some much needed rain last night, the last time I checked the rain gauge at North Elementary online .76 inches had fell. MICKEY

TIPS TO GOOD SLEEPING
Duke University offers these good sleep habits:

* Keep a schedule for when you get up, eat, take medicines, go to bed, etc.
* Establish a relaxing pre-sleep ritual, such as taking a warm bath, reading for 10 minutes, or having a light snack. This lets your body know that bedtime is near.
* Go to bed only when sleepy and get out of bed if you're not sleeping. By spending long periods awake in bed, your body learns that it's OK to be awake in bed.
* Exercise regularly. It's best to exercise in the late afternoon, about six hours before bedtime.
* Avoid caffeine, alcohol and smoking around bedtime.
* Don't nap. If you must, it's best to take naps in mid-afternoon.

If these habits aren't working, tell your doctor. More assessment and treatment may be needed.

I'm going with LES on the rain.I know things can be different depending on what side of I95 that you reside.Sometimes Jim duncan calls for snow west of 95 , rain east of95.
