COLONIALS HAVE THE NIGHT OFF, NASCAR VISITS RICHMOND

While the rest of the area has high school football games tonight the Colonials have there week off tonight before playing nine straight Friday night to end the year. There are couple of big games with local ties tonight with Varina visiting Matoaca and Thomas Dale visiting L.C. Bird. Down in Georgia the Crawford County Eagles will try to make it two wins in a row when they travel to Pelham, Ga to play the Hornets. At the beach First flight which has lost two in a row will try to get back on track when the travel to Williamston and Cape Hatteras will be going for there 2nd win of the season when Mattamuskeet visits. How about that wild college football game A.G. had last night in which Louisville won 58-42, there sure was allot of offense in this won. In the NFL opener last night the Colts looked like they did last year a good football team in beating the Saints 41-10. The Nascar Busch Series will visit RIR tonight and the Nextel Cup Series tomorrow night, fellow blogger Al will be there both days taking pictures at RIR. I had thought about going to another high school football game tonight but since I am going to ECU tomorrow I think am just going to stay home and watch the race tonight. MICKEY

I am tired. A 4 hour game with over 1200 yards of total offense. Doesn't anybody want to play defense anymore???????

I got an hour and 50 minutes worth of sleep. We to bed around 145am and had a 335am wake up call because I had a 520a flight out of Louisville to Charlotte.

It was pretty neat though I sat right beside Bob Dillner, Larry McReynolds, and Jeff Hammond from Speed Channel on the flight from Charlotte to Richmond this morning.

thats cool a.g. i met larry mac once and he was really nice. i listened to the game on sirius last night and the louisville announcers were saying what an improvement there was for the cardinal defense. i was yelling at the radio when they said that.
