PHILLIES WIN WORLD SERIES, PAIN INDEX RISES

The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Tampa Bay Rays last night 4-3 on a very cold night in Philadelphia and doing so won this years World Series. I got cold just watching the game but I have to say the conditions were better than they were Monday night. My PAIN index is up this morning after cutting the grass yesterday, with all the cold weather we have the last few days the lawn mower just didn't want to start. I finally go it started but I think I might have pulled every muscle in the right side of my body doing so. The Colonial Heights girls volleyball team will play Thomas Dale tonight in the finals of the Central District Volleyball Tournament at Colonial Heights at 6pm, I may go see some of the game if I get back from eating in time. It looks like the weather will warm up a bit here in CH the next two days, Friday it is suppose to be 67 and Saturday 70 and thats just fine with me, I don't like cold weather. Don't forget tomorrow is Halloween, I don't want you to make all those Trick or Treaters upset by not having any candy. MICKEY

What Is MRSA?
Some staph infections become increasingly resistant to antibiotics and are more difficult to treat. MRSA is a type of staph infection (methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus) that is resistant to first line antibiotics such as methicillin, amoxicillin, and penicillin. The original MRSA infections emerged in the 1960s and were associated with exposure in the health care setting, particularly in hospitals, and are referred to as hospital-acquired MRSA or "HA-MRSA." This type of MRSA infection is difficult to treat because it is not susceptible to stronger antibiotics such as clindamycin or Bactrim.

I think tomorrow should be national cany corn day! I like the ones that have the chocolate on the bottom.
