PACKERS PICK UP A MUCH NEEDED WIN, REDSKINS LOSE

The Green Bay Packers picked up a much needed win yesterday over the Seattle Seahawks 27-17, with the win the Packers are now tied for 1st place in the NFC North with the Vikings & Bears at 3-3. I wish I could say the Redskins won as well but the Skins just didn't play that well yesterday and fell to the Rams 19-17 on a late field goal, with the loss the Skins blew a chance to pull away from the Cowboys in the NFC East because the Cowboys fell to the Cardinals. In the NL Championship Series last night the Dodgers beat the Phillies 7-2, the Phillies still lead the series 2-1 though. Both the NL & AL will be in action today. The Richmond Renegades will open training camp up today and will have 3 preseason games starting on Friday night with only the game on Saturday night being at the Richmond Coliseum. Here in Colonial Heights today we have baseball camp that will start today and hopefully run for 4 or 5 weeks, the camp is only on Mondays and Tuesdays on CH residents. Well my PAIN index isn't as bad as I thought it would be this morning, after a grueling weekend of being on the go I went to bed at 9pm last night for a little extra rest and I have to say I am feeling pretty right now. Also fellow blogger Keith is heading out of town to Detroit today to do a little work for the government. MICKEY

Wrinkled Slacks But No Iron?
If you have wrinkled slacks but no iron, just put the slacks neatly over the towel bar in the bathroom while taking a shower. Be sure to close the bathroom door to trap as much steam as possible.

HFCS. High-Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) is a food additive that was developed over thirty years ago. It is derived from corn and is many times cheaper and sweeter than simple sugar. Unlike regular sugar, HFCS does not quench the body's appetite, thus allowing people to drink a two-liter bottle of soda without feeling “full.” The average American consumes sixty-two pounds of HFCS each year (228 calories per day).
