IT'S GOING TO BE PRETTY WARM THE NEXT THREE DAYS

Well it's going to feel more like summer than fall the next three days here in Colonial Heights with highs around 86 or 87 the next three days before dropping back into the 70's on Friday and to he 60's Saturday and Sunday. Well we started our baseball camp yesterday and thing s did go pretty well, we had around 25 players out there but some were 8th graders who can only play JV but they were out there non the less to get better. In the NL playoffs last night the Phillies beat the Dodgers 7-5 to take a 3-1 series lead and now are just 1 win away form the World Series. In the AL Tampa Bay hammered Boston 9-1 to take a 2-1 series lead. In the NFL the Tennessee Titans are now the only undefeated left after the New York Giants fell to the Cleveland Browns 35-14 making the Redskins loss to the Rams sting even more. Part time blogger Andrew will be spending the night tonight here in CH, I think he is a part time blogger because he may have forgot his password. I thought my PAIN index would have gone up this morning but after sleeping like a rock for the 2nd straight night it has stayed the same. MICKEY

Happiness isn't something you experience; it's something you remember.
— Oscar Levant

Don't try to run faster than you have strength. Just work to be a little better and a little stronger each day.

Keep Spaghetti from Boiling Over
Add a teaspoon of olive oil to your spaghetti water to prevent it from boiling over. Butter or another vegetable oil can be substituted for olive oil. A pat of butter also works well to prevent rice from boiling over.

Go to bed early, get up early and your days will be more productive.

Today
Of all the days that have ever been and of all the days to come, today is the one you now have. Though it may not be perfect, it is here, it is now, and it is the one day that is available to you.

On this day you live in a world filled with beauty. Take the opportunity to see and appreciate some of that beauty.

On this day there are precious moments ready to be filled with joy and meaning. Live today's moments so as to add real and lasting value to your life and your world.

Spend some time focusing your thoughts on what's right with this day. Allow yourself to genuinely feel the goodness that is present right now.

Remind yourself of all that you have to be thankful for on this day. In the heart of your gratitude, you will touch today's limitless source of abundance.

Possibility, opportunity, value, goodness, love and fulfillment are all here and now on this day. Bring them to life today in your own special way.
