I AM GOING TO EAST CAROLINA

Well I will be heading down to East Carolina later this morning to see the Pirates play Memphis at 12 noon. It looks like there is a pretty good chance of rain down there today and it's now going to even make it to 60 degrees so it could be pretty miserable. However I have to say that I have been down there numerous times and the forecast didn't look to good and it hardly even rained at all. The worst college game I ever sat through was a game between Rice and Wake Forest about 20 years ago and it rained hard the entire game. The Virginia cavaliers look to make it 3 wins in a row later today when they welcome the North Carolina Tar Heels to town, I think the Cavs are going two win but it's going to be a close game. Qualifying at Martinsville this weekend was rained out so they will line up by points. The Tampa Bay Rays will try to finish off the Red Sox again tonight, if they Rays lose tonight I think they will lose the series. The Richmond Renegades will have a home preseason game tonight at the RC against Fayetteville. My PAIN index is up this morning because my right shoulder has been aggravated. MICKEY

It is in the small decisions you and I make every day that create our destiny. Anthony Robbins

By recycling just one glass bottle, the amount of energy that is being saved is enough to light a 100 watt bulb for four hours.

Free yourself
To be free of your burdens, do something about them. The sweetest freedom is the freedom you have earned through your own efforts.

Unresolved problems can be a constant drain on all you do. Yet when you solve even one lingering problem, you increase the effectiveness of everything else you do.

Some of the problems facing you may take a good bit of time to solve. That's all the more reason for you to get started working on them right now.

Instead of wasting your energy on worry, invest your energy in effort. Instead of being burdened by the problems, choose to be inspired by them.

Take useful and effective action to make your whole life and your whole world better. The moment you begin to act, you suddenly start to feel more confident, more powerful, and more in control of your own destiny.

Think of how great it feels when you finally take care of a situation that has needed your attention for a long time. Then enable yourself to truly feel that freedom by getting the problem solved.
