NOTHING LIKE A SHORT WORK WEEK

There is nothing like a short work week and with Independence Day on Friday and my vacation from work starting on Monday I will have some extra time at the beach. Speaking of the beach I did talk to Scott yesterday and he & the the rest of the family are Jekyll Island, Georgia. Kurt Busch won yesterdays rain shortened race at New Hampshire by not pitting late in the race, he held off Michael Waltrip for the win, his brother Kyle still leads the point standings by 64 over Jeff Burton. We did get some needed rain here in Colonial Heights yesterday although it wasn't to much, we might get a little more this afternoon. Do you ever wonder what former pros wrestlers do after they retire, well I found out what Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and George "The Animal" Steele are doing, they are trying to make it as movie stars, I have enclosed a video below of a movie that you might see on the big screen soon. MICKEY

The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.
Vince Lombardi

How you think, affects how you feel, and in turn the actions you take. Believe in yourself every day. Focus on what you want, being fitter, healthier, rather than how unfit you are. Setting realistic goals and having positive expectations will make all the difference.

Run joyfully toward life
Run joyfully toward life and embrace it with open arms. Each day brings its own treasure in the flavors, aromas, sights, sounds, situations, experiences and interactions that come your way.

Don't get bogged down attempting to resist or deny what has already happened. Put your energy into using what you have to make life better than ever.

Embrace the beauty, the joy, the wonder and the abundance of life. At the same time, embrace the challenges, the setbacks, the disappointments and the difficulties.

Be genuinely thankful for every moment, whatever it may contain. For in each moment is your opportunity to fully live, to grow, to learn, to experience, to share and to create unique, lasting value.

Welcome the ever-changing richness of life as it dances before your eyes in ways you've never seen before. Join passionately in that dance and be a part of the richness.

Follow the winding path as it moves up, down, over and around through the steadily increasing abundance and fulfillment of your life. Know more fully, as each moment passes, the profound joy of being.
