COASTAL PLAIN BASEBALL LAST NIGHT

I went to see my first Coastal Plain League baseball game last when the Petersburg Generals hosted the Outer Banks Daredevils at the Petersburg Sports Complex. It was pretty good game for the most part with Daredevils coming away with a 7-4 win in 10 innings, OBX lead most of the game but Petersburg tied up in the 7th only to have OBX push 3 across in the top of 10th to win the game. I might have to go so see the Daredevils play down in Kill Devil Hills next week. My Pain index is up this morning though because those bleacher at the Petersburg Sports Complex were pretty rough on my rear and back & shoulders are also hurting from sitting on those bleachers as well. Patrick Carpentier will lead the field to the green flag today at New Hampshire, Tony Stewart won yesterdays Nationwide race at New Hampshire. There seems to be a bit of an ant problem in the kitchen this morning, I have been on ant patrol but I don't know how much good I am doing because it seems every one I get rid off a few more appear. We are still looking for some much needed rain here in Colonial Heights, there is a 50% chance later today, the grass sure could use some, I have watered it some but it's grass sure isn't looking to green. Baseball is almost the only orderly thing in a very un-orderly world. If you get three strikes, even the best lawyer in the world can't get you off.

Carrots aren't only for Bugs bunny. Add some to your diet and you will breath easier. Studies have found that carrots cut the effects of polluants and lower the risk of lung cancer.

First find a goal. While working for that goal you'll automatically develop everything you need to reach it.

Morning glory. Over 90% of people who exercise consistently exercise in the morning. Studies have shown that those who exercise five to six days a week in the morning are much more likely to stick with the program and reap the benefits. Morning exercise awakens the metabolism and senses and kick starts your day.
