COLONIAL HEIGHTS GRADUATION TONIGHT AT 8PM

Colonial Heights High School will hold it's 2008 commencement exercises tonight at the Colonial Heights High School football field at 8pm. It is true that former blogger Lee will be graduating tonight but is not true that he is the valedictorian for the CHHS class of 2008. It's hard to believe that Lee is 18 and will be off to college next year, I know Melanie can't believe it. This will be my 1st graduation that I have attended in many years, I think the last one that I attended was either Geoffrey's or Leslie's. Speaking of Geoff & Leslie , where in the world is there Marylin, has she become a former blogger. The Nascar Sprint Cup Series will be at the Michigan this weekend, besides Richmond this track may be the best for side by side racing, it is very wide. The College Baseball World Series starts tomorrow in Omaha, I guess I will be rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs in this tournament and if they get knocked out UNC, I like there coach. I just hope the mosquitoes aren't biting tonight at the football field. MICKEY

HEALTH TIP
Have a glass of wine a day. No more than 5 ounces a day, and it will help reduce the risk of heart disease, Alzheimer's, and stroke. Don't like wine? Go for the chocolate. One ounce of dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa will do the trick.

DID YOU KNOW
More American workers (18%) call sick on Friday than any other day of the week. Tuesday has the lowest percent of absenteeism (11%).

PICNIC SAFETY TIP
Keep cold foods cold until they are served. If you are at home, you can use the refrigerator. But for a picnic in the park, bring coolers with plenty of ice or freezer packs. Use one cooler for ready-to-serve foods and beverages and another for any uncooked meat for the grill.

Congrats to Lee, but I was looking forward to hearing his Speech.

All Dad use to do was change the dates to his speech each year. Lee could of borrowed Dad's.
