GEORGIA WINS LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES AGAIN

For the second straight year a team from Georgia won the Little League World Series. This year it was a team from Warner Robins, Ga that defeated Japan 3-2 in the bottom of the eighth inning. I have posted a couple of photos from the game, last year Columbus, Ga captured the title. They sure are playing some good baseball in Georgia. They are coming by today to put a another coat of shine on the hard wood floors, they are going to do it early so the fumes will have dissipated a bit by the time I get home, but I got a feeling they are still going to be pretty strong. We got another pretty good t-storm here in CH last night & some more much needed rain, there was some pretty sharp lightning as well. Last week on the blog there were 311 visitors from 3 different countries. Maybe I will post another video later today of the progress that was made today here at the house. My AIP is little higher also today because my right leg is a bit tight. MICKEY

Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice, and is never the result of selfishness.

1858 - The first cabled news dispatch was sent to, and published by, The New York Sun newspaper. The story was about China meeting the peace demands of England and France.
1889 - Charles G. Conn of Elkhart, IN patented the metal clarinet. More than 100 years later the name, Conn, still represents one of the most popular musical instrument names -- especially for clarinets.
1912 - Tarzan was born, or rather, came to life on this day. Tarzan of the Apes was published by writer Edgar Rice Burroughs.
1921 - J.E. Clair, who owned the Acme Packing Company, bought a pro football franchise for Green Bay, WI. Cheeseheads could have been their name, but he decided to pay tribute to those who packed the meat at his processing plant. Hence the name: the Green Bay Packers.
1986 - Nolan Ryan of the Houston Astros notched career win #250, by leading the Astros to a 7-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs.

Battling exercise "burnout."
To keep your enthusiasm up, it may pay to put a few exercises down for a while. Changing your exercise program every couple of months may help beat boredom. Besides, after a while, your body adapts to the exercise stressors your current program had introduced, and craves new challenges. YOU HAVE TO BE EXERCISING TO GET BURNOUT

just a bit of tightness elevates your api? your api could possibly go double digits after sleeping in a house full of fumes from the floor work!!

I hope the fumes will be gone tonight because Brady and Leeza will be home. They are going to the grommers tomorrow.
