The CH Optimist team fell to the Tidewater Diamonds last night 8-0 in the championship game of the BIB tournament. The Colonial Heights team was stymied offensively by the Tidewater pitcher who only allowed 1 hit. The win gave the Tidewater Diamonds there 4th consecutive BIB championship and they now have 17 game winning streak in the BIB tournament. I almost had to put my sweatshirt on this morning when I went out to get the paper it was so cool, it was 62 at 6:15am and it has been in the upper 70's at that hour for the last week. Kevin Harvick won yesterdays Busch race at Watkins Glen, its a good thing that Nextel Cup drivers races at Watkins Glen yesterday, if not there probably wouldn't have been 20 cars. I e-mailed former blogger Gary and he said he is doing ok but his knee is still a bit sore, he is getting ready to go Myrtle Beach for vacation. I have been messing around on a Test Blog for Mickey's Place, I have posted a link below to the site, let me know what you think of it. Well I am going to cut my hair and then get on the treadmill.
