VIRGINIA HEADING TO THE COLLEGE BASEBALL WORLD SERIES, STEWART WINS AT POCONO

The Virginia Cavalier baseball team punched there ticket to the College Baseball World Series yesterday beating Mississippi 5-1, the Cavalier pitching staff were the stars of the game again only allowing 1 run yesterday. The Cavs defense played very well also and they got a couple of key hits when they needed them as well. The Cavs will face LSU on Saturday. The East Carolina Pirates baseball season came to an end at the hands of the UNC Tar Heels 9-3, the Pirates had a good season and there baseball program seems to be heading in the right direction. Andrew's Little League team lost yesterday and if they want to keep there season going must win tomorrow night. Tony Stewart won yesterdays Nascar race at Pocono yesterday, with the win Smoke extended his points lead over Jeff Gordon to 71 points. Dale Jr. had another rough outing finishing 27, Jr. had better step it up pretty quickly. I didn't sleep very well at all last night for some reason so my PAIN index is up this morning. Also if anybody cares the Lakers lead the Magic 2-0 in the NBA Finals. MICKEY

Storing Apples to keep them fresh
Store apples on the counter, away from other produce. For long-term storage, wrap perfect apples (no spots, bruises or blemishes) individually in paper. Then, place them in a box and store in a cool, dark place.
