I WILL BE HEADING TO THE OBX AFTER WORK, ME MA EVELYN COMING HOME TOMORROW

Well I will be heading down to the OBX after work today for vacation and there will be allot of fellow bloggers joining me down there as well over the next 10 days. Also Scott and his family will be arriving from Georgia tonight on the OBX from Georgia. It's hard to believe its been about a year since last years vacation but I not complaining. Also tomorrow Me Ma Evelyn will be coming home tomorrow from the nursing home that she has been in the last several months which is very good news. Yesterday was very bad day for celebrities with the deaths of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. The Nascar Sprint Cup Series will be at New Hampshire this weekend and the Indy Car Series will be at the Richmond International Raceway. I saw the Indy Cars run at RIR a few years back and those cars are moving when the go around RIR. The water temperature at the beach yesterday was 76 degrees which is like bath water. MICKEY

While migraines and their causes vary from person to person, researchers have identified some common triggers.

-Too much sleep, or not enough shut-eye.
-Missing meals.
-Overstimulated senses, including noises that are too loud, scents that are too strong, or lights that are too bright.
-Hormonal changes.
-Stress.
-Changes in the weather.
-Drinking red wine or changes in caffeine intake.
-Aspartame, an artificial sweetener.
-Food additives such as tyramine, monosodium glutamate (MSG) or nitrates.

UV Protection: Studies show that UV radiation can accelerate the development of cataracts. The bright sun can cause pinguecula and pterygium-benign growths on the surface of the eye. UV radiation can cause cancer of the eyelids and the skin surrounding the eyes. UV radiation can also cause photokeratitis, a temporary but painful burn on the cornea, the clear dome-like structure on the front part of the eye. Photokeratitis often occurs while water or snow skiing without sun protection. Studies also show that long-term exposure to the sun's harmful rays may contribute to the development of macular degeneration. At the very least, you should look for sunglasses that block at least 99% of both UV-A and UV-B radiation, and screen out 75-90% of visible light.

No one is in control of your happiness but you; therefore, you have the power to change anything about yourself or your life that you want to change.
