VIRGINIA ELIMINATED

The Virginia baseball team took a 3-1 lead into the top of the 9th inning last night and got the 1st two batters out in the top of the 9th before Arkansas got a single and 2 run HR to tied the game at 3-3 and win it 4-3 in 12innings. Virginia had a chance to win the game in the bottom of the 9th, 10th and 11th inning but where unable to push a run across. In top of the 12th inning Arkansas got 1 run and Virginia got a lead off double in the bottom of the 12th but couldn't get him in. Virginia had several chances to win this game but just let to many opportunity's go by and losing the way they did really hurts and will stick with them for a while. The Cavaliers had a very good season and have allot to look forward to in the future. Today in the CWS Arizona Sate will face North Carolina in an elimination game as well. Last night we were not able ton finish our Appomattox League baseball game before the rains came, we are suppose to play Wakefield tonight but that is if the field isn't to wet and thats a big if. My PAIN index is a up a bit because I worrying a bit that the crown on my tooth that the dentist wanted to replace might becoming lose, I decided not to replace until it came off and I was hoping it would stay on at least to the end of the year. Also to replace it is going to costs me allot of money as well. MICKEY

But let's say you must put on your shoes, find your keys and drive to the store. Laziness will triumph. (Yes, sometimes sloth is a good thing!)

bASEBALL IS A GREAT GAME BUT ALSO A FRUSTRATING GAME.i FELT uva, AS GOOD AS THEY WERE ,HAD SEVERAL WEAKNESSES THAT WERE EXPLOITED IN THE LOSS. tHE BASEBALL GODS CAN TURN ON A team in a heartbeat. being young ,i am sure the coach will address these weaknesses during the off season. Overall, they are a good team and had a good run.

Who is the great baseball mind that once said "If you lose by one run it is probably the coaches fault?"
