PACKERS MOVE ON TO NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

The Green Bay Packers overcame a slow start which saw the Packers fall behind 14-0 in the first four minutes of the game to come back and defeat the Seahawks 42-20 at snowy Lambeau Field. The Packers were lead offensively by Ryan Grant who ran for 201 yards on 27 carries and had 3 touchdowns, it was Grant who fumbled twice early in the game that set up Seattle's only two TD's. I have to say he sure did redeem himself with the performance he had. Brett Favre also threw 2 TD passes for he Pack. Green Bay will play the winner of todays NY Giants vs Dallas game next week. In yesterdays other NFL playoff game the New England Patriots beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-20, the Patriots will play the winner of todays Colts vs Chargers game next week. The Richmond Renegades extended there winning streak to 4 games with a 5-2 victory over the Knoxville Ice Bears last night at the RC in front of 4,539 Renegade fans, the Gades are now off until Wednesday night when the Twin City Cyclones visit the RC. The Virginia Cavalier basketball team opens up ACC play tonight at 8pm against the Duke Blue Devils at Duke, not only will the Cavs have to beat Duke but they will also have to overcome a little home cooking at Cameron, Duke seems to get every call at home. Also I was able to run outside yesterday for the first time in about a month and a half, my foot is still sore but it is bearable right now. MICKEY

Fitness Tip
Fitness and food formulate a winning combination. The more you move, the better you eat. People who exercise at least 3 hours a week tend to eat a more balanced diet and think twice before pigging out. Plus, they don’t have to cut as many calories from their diet and risk feeling deprived or cranky.
