Well yesterday the Dow Jones industrial average plunged 777 points, its biggest ever single-day drop, or nearly 7 percent, to 10,365.45, its lowest close in nearly three years. The setback occurred after lawmakers failed to pass a $700 billion bank rescue plan aimed at stabilizing the U.S. financial system. Also yesterday my bank Wachovia was taken over by Citigroup. Hopefully the market will stabilize soon. Well they played 162 games and that wasn't enough for the Twins and the White Sox and they will play 1 more game today with the winner advancing to the AL playoffs to meet the Tampa Bay Rays. My Pain index is up this morning because my left side of my torso is hurting this morning and my allergies have been acting up for several days. I haven't really felt that great since Thursday. I also have to go to work 30 minutes earlier this morning as well which also contributing my Pain index. Don't forget this Friday night it will be Homecoming for the Colonials. MICKEY

Refurbishing Plastic Spatulas
Over time, the edges of plastic spatulas get dull and rough. Sharpen the rough edge by sanding them with an emery board or scraping them with the edge of a sharp knife. You can also do this to wooden spatulas.
Stopping a Side Stitch
To stop a side stitch when running, stop running and place your hand into the right side of your belly and push up, lifting the liver slightly. Inhale and exhale evenly as you push up.
