HURRICANE GUSTAV

It appears Hurricane Gustav will make landfall in Louisiana later today packing sustained winds of 115 mph and gust to around 140 mph. It does look like most of the residents down there have gotten out of town for this storm and have not tried to ride out which is a very good thing because of what happened when Katrina hit the same area. For those of you with Direct TV the local hurricane coverage from Louisiana on channel 361. There is another tropical system out there which could effect the east coast by the of the week, right now it is Tropical Storm Hanna but it is fore casted to become a Hurricane later this week. I hope everybody has a good Labor Day, I am taking the day to celebrate the day. Jimmie Johnson dominated last nights race at the California Speedway holding off Greg Biffle for the win, I have say it was one boring race. Nascars traveling circus will be heading to Richmond next week. I have posted the standings after week one of the Mickey's Place college football pick em game and it appears that me & Scottie have gotten of to a pretty good start, I have also posted next weeks games and i have sent an e-mail out as well with next weeks games listed.
