OERGON STATE WINS CWS AGAIN, MONTOYA GETS 1ST CUP WIN

The Oregon State Beavers won the CWS for the 2nd consecutive year last night beating the North Carolina Tar Heels 9-3 and winning the series 2-0. The Heels had another tough night with runners in scoring position and they also had few defensive breakdowns as well. Oregon State is a very good team and they look they will be a very good team again next year. We will be home tonight weather permitting in Appomattox League action against Manchester, we will have a bit of a make shift lineup due to all our injuries, I just hope we will be able to score some runs. We are going to be hurting offensively for the rest of the year. Juan Pablo Montoya picked up his 1st career Nextel Cup victory yesterday at Sonoma yesterday holding of Kevin Harvick for the victory, with the win Montoya, from Colombia, is the first foreign-born driver to win in NASCAR’s top series since Earl Ross, a Canadian, won at Martinsville in 1974. The question still remains if Montoya can win on an oval. Also mom is back in town from the beach for a few days because she has a dental appointment, but when she goes back to the beach this time she will be down for the summer. MICKEY
