COLONIAL HEIGHTS PICKS UP A COUPLE MORE WINS

The Colonial Heights baseball team picked up two more victories last night in Appomattox League baseball action defeating Thomas Dale 6-4 and 2-1. In the 1st game CH got 6 runs on just 1 hit and in the 2nd got a solid pitching performance out of Casey Barnes in relief. There was a very scary incident in game 2 win CH pitcher Jeff Kidd was hit in the face with a line drive and had leave the game on a stretcher. The ball hit him and the jaw area and opened up a pretty bad cut on his face and may have knocked a few of his teeth out. At the CWS series yesterday UNC beat Rice 6-1 and will face Rice again tonight at 7pm with the winner advancing to the CWS finals to meet the defending CWS champs Oregon State. The Beavers ended California Irvine magical run with a 7-1 win over the Ant Eaters. I guess Jeff Gordon will be able to race after all this weekend, his wife gave birth to the couples first child yesterday a baby girl. I have posted a few photos from last night baseball action that AL took during game 1. MICKEY

I haven't got the slightest idea how to change people, but still I keep a long list of prospective candidates just in case I should ever figure it out.
