COLONIAL HEIGHTS WINS 2 IN APPOMATTOX LEAGUE ACTION

In what might have been the two longest 5 inning games in baseball history last night Colonial Heights beat Prince George 8-4 and 6-1 in Appomattox League baseball action. The problems began when the umpires were sent to the wrong game and it went down hill from there. Colonial Heights will play at home against Thomas Dale on Wednesday night in Appomattox League action. At the CWS yesterday California Irvine beat Cal State Fullerton in 13 innings 5-4 eliminating Fullerton and Oregon State beat Arizona State 12-6. There will be two elimination games today with UNC meeting Louisville and Arizona State meeting California Irvine. If you thought it was hot yesterday it's going to be even hotter here in CH today and the humidity is also going to be a little higher so it's going to feel like it is over 100. After standing up last night for about 5 hours my back is very sore this morning which has elevated my AIP index again. Try to stay cool, MICKEY
