MY FAVORITE DAY OF THE WEEK

Well I have to say that today is my favorite day of the week because it is Friday and I will have have the next two days off th rest. The road to Omaha begins today for 64 college baseball teams as the NCAA Div I baseball playoffs begin all across the country. The three teams that I will be following closely are Virginia, VCU and East Carolina and of those three only Virginia is favored to win there regional this weekend. Virginia will play Lafayette today, East Carolina will play Western Carolina and VCU will play Coastal Carolina, there sure are allot of teams with Carolina in there name. The Nascar Nextel Cup and Busch will be racing in Dover, Delaware this weekend and it is a COT race so look for one of the Hendrick drivers to in again. In high school baseball action in CR playoffs both James River and Deep Run won last night and they will play tonight for the CR baseball championship, both teams will represent the CR in the state baseball playoffs which begin next week. Also yesterday there was a major upset in boys soccer last night as Thomas Dale Knights lost for the first time in 67 games to Cosby 2-0, that was an unbelievable streak that TD had though. Also today is the 1st day of the Atlantic hurricane season, hopefully it won't be to bad of a year for the US this year but there are some southern states that sure could use the rain. MICKEY
