SPIDERS WIN I-AA TITLE, RENEGADES WIN ON THE ROAD

The Richmond Spiders may have played there best game of the season defensively last night in championship game of the I-AA in a 24-7 win over the Montana Grizzlies. The Spiders offense played extremely well in the 1st half but sputtered a bit in the 2nd half but the Spiders defense was the story last night leading Richmond to the 1st ever National Championship in any sport. The Richmond Renegades picked up a 2-1 road victory in Columbus last night, from all accounts of the game the Richmond goalie was the difference in the game. The Gades will play in Columbus again tonight. The VCU Rams and the Virginia Cavaliers will both be back in action on the hardwood today, the Rams will be on the road at Oklahoma while Virginia will be at home against the Auburn Tigers. The college bowl season also starts today 4 games today, the only ACC team in action today is Wake Forest who will face Navy. I did go down to Wal-Mart this morning and it appeared that there were a few more people than normal in the store because of Christmas. I did see allot of people who had that panic look in there eyes because they new time was running out on them to finish there shopping. My PAIN index is up this morning because I bit my tongue while eating yesterday and one of my wisdom tooths is a bit tender this morning as well. MICKEY

I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.
