ALL MY PRESENTS WRAPPED, COLONIALS WIN

Well it took me a little longer than it normal but all my Christmas presents that I giving to other people have arrived and have been wrapped.  For some reason this year I got a few weeks behind but now I am all done.  I do still have a few presents to wrap for dad though.  The Colonial Heights Colonials basketball team picked up a 65-55 win over Maggie Walker Governors School last night in the Colonial Heights Invitational, the Colonials will face Armstrong tonight in the finals.  The CH girls team will be at Dinwiddie tonight.  Well it's going to be a cool rainy day here in the Heights today, the high for today has already been set and the temperature will continue to fall through the afternoon, however it will be back into the upper 50's on Wednesday.  MICKEY

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strength. When you go through hardship and decide not to surrender, that is strength.

DID YOU KNOW
The starfish is one of the only animals who can turn it's stomach inside-out.

Identify what you want to accomplish with your health, stregnth, and weight. Set goals to plan for success.

Now and then it is good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.

One of the biggest benefits of running is that it's good for your health. Running is an excellent way to strengthen the heart and ensure the efficient flow of blood and oxygen throughout the body, which helps decrease your risk of a heart attack. Exercise, combined with maintaining a healthy weight, is one of the best ways to naturally reduce your blood pressure if it's above normal. If you have high cholesterol, running can also help keep it in check. Running also improves your immune system, so your body functions are more effective and efficient at fighting off germs. Running and other weight-bearing exercises increase bone density, which can fend off osteoporosis.
