MOM TO HAVE HEART PROCEDURE TODAY

Well mom will be going to Chippenham Hospital this morning to have a heart catheterization done this morning. If no problems are found she will be on her way back home around Noon, if there is a problem found they will take her up and put a stent in and she will have to stay the night. Something did show up on some x-rays and they just want to make sure everything is ok. It's hard to believe but it was 6 years ago today that PaPa passed away and he is still missed every day. The Richmond Renegades played a very uninspired game last night and fell to the Fayetteville FireAntz 5-2, the Gades simply just didn't play well and now will hit the road for 2 games before heading back home for a Sunday afternoon game. The Colonial heights girls basketball team will open up Central District play on the road tonight at Prince George, they boys team will be at home on Friday night against Prince George. My PAIN index is up this morning just because it is going to be miserable day weather wise, they are clling for 2-4 inches of rain which will make for a very wet day at work. MICKEY

Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.
Mark Twain

Never mistake knowledge for wisdom. One helps you make a living, the other helps you make a life.

It has been recommended by dentists that a toothbrush be kept at least 6 feet (two meters) away from a toilet to avoid airborne particles resulting from the flush!

For $1.50, the price of a large bag of spinach at most grocery stores, you can reduce your risk of developing osteoporosis, lower your cholesterol, and raise your I.Q. Spinach is an excellent bone-builder, containing vitamin K, calcium, and magnesium. It's also high in flavonoids, plant molecules that act as antioxidants, which have been shown to prevent breast, stomach, skin, and ovarian cancer. Spinach is a great source of vitamin A and vitamin C, which not only keep you from getting sick in the winter, but also de-clog your arteries and reduce heart disease.

Spinach contains antioxidants that neutralize free radicals in the brain, thereby preventing the effects of aging on mental activity.
