VIRGINIA FALLS AGAIN, IT'S STILL COLD

The Virginia Cavaliers lost to Maryland Terrapins last night 84-78, the Cavs played well at times but there was a stretch in the game the fell behind by double digits and just were not able to recover. Tonight the VCU Rams will travel down to Georgia State to face the Panthers, the Rams are in 2nd place 1 game behind George Mason. Well we didn't get any snow after all yesterday but it is still very cold here in Colonial Heights, this morning it is a very cold 16 degrees. There is some good news weather wise over the next few days though, it is suppose to be in the upper 40's Thursday & Saturday and in the mid 50's on Friday. I had terrible headache last night when I went to bed but I am glad to sat that is gone this morning, however I didn't sleep well last which has caused my PAIN index to go up this morning. MICKEY

Your health affects all you do. The key to good health is to eat right, sleep right, exercise right and treat others right.

All diets have pros and cons. Some fad diets create a yo-yo effect that often causes dieters to gain more weight than they lose. Critics point to some reasons why one should not follow the diet, such as a lack of scientific proof, a lack of information and the fact that all food has calories. In addition, if a person fails to eat enough negative-calorie foods, or they eat only negative-calorie foods, the diet won't work. Advocates for the diet show proof that these foods increasing metabolism also contain minerals and vitamins.

1985 - Because January 20 had fallen on a Sunday, Ronald Reagan's public inaugural ceremony (for his second term as President) was moved to Monday, January 21. Due to bad weather, the ceremony was held indoors in the Rotunda of the United States Capitol.

I was just wondering if the quote of the day was from the great classical philosoper Ernest or the character from the comic strip.
