IT WILL BE THE STEELERS & THE CARDINALS IN THIS YEARS SUPER BOWL

The Pittsburgh Steelers will meet the Arizona Cardinals in this years Super Bowl on February 1. The Cardinals beat the Eagles 32-25 while the Steelers beat the Ravens 23-14 last night. Both games were decided in the final quarter of the game. The Richmond Renegades lost to the Fayetteville FireAntz yesterday afternoon 5-1, apparently the Gades left the offense in Richmond. It is going to be a pretty slow day at work today since it is Martin Luther King Day, all the schools are closed and all government offices are closed as well, however me & Al will be working because we don't work for the government. We might pick up a little bit of light snow here in Colonial Heights today or tonight, it doesn't look like it will stick though because it is already above freezing this morning. My PAIN index will has dropped a bit this morning back in the 5's after being above 6 yesterday. MICKEY

DID YOU KNOW
Too much vitamin C - more than 1000mg daily - can cause nausea and diarrhea.

At times, you will not feel like exercising. If you're just feeling a little tired or low on energy, go ahead and try to complete your routine. The workout will likely boost your energy level and your mood.

Eating After Exercise
It is also important to consume carbohydrate, such as fruit or juice) within 15 minutes post-exercise to help restore glycogen.

Research has shown that eating 100-200 grams of carbohydrate within two hours of endurance exercise is essential to building adequate glycogen stores for continued training. Waiting longer than two hours to eat results in 50 percent less glycogen stored in the muscle. The reason for this is that carbohydrate consumption stimulates insulin production, which aids the production of muscle glycogen. However, the effect of carbohydrate on glycogen storage reaches a plateau.
