COLONIALS TO FACE #1 TEAM IN THE STATE TONIGHT, PLANE CRASHES INTO MANTEO HOME

The Colonial Heights boys basketball team will play the #1 team in the state tonight Petersburg at Petersburg, Petersburg has not lost a game all year and have three very good players. The CH girls team jumped out to 16-11 lead after the 1st period and lead at the half 25-23 before Petersburg took over in the 2nd half en route to a 60-44 win over the Colonials, Al posted some photos from the game in the previous entry on the blog. The Virginia Cavaliers will try to pick a big win tonight at home win the North Carolina Tar Heels visit the JPJ Arena, a Cavs win would make the Heels 0-3 in the ACC. Also tonight the VCU Rams will be at Towson. A plane crashed into a Manteo house last night while trying to land in some bad weather at the Manteo airport, fortunately no one was seriously injured, the pilot and his passenger were slightly injured though. No one in the house was injured. All this cold weather we are having is making my PAIN index go up. MICKEY

Making Changes
When you first make positive changes in your life, it may be scary or difficult, but keep doing it and it will get easier and less stressful.

Strength training is important for cardiac health because the risk of heart disease is lower when the body is leaner.

Storing Lettuce
Store lettuce with a paper towel and it will last longer. The paper towel will absorb moisture. If you are storing lettuce in a container, line the bottom of the container with a layer of paper towels.

Eat lean protein. Try to include a lean protein such as chicken, turkey, fish, or low-fat dairy at every meal. High-protein foods will help keep you from getting hungry and getting low on energy between meals.

This Blogger will be in attendance tomorrow at JPJ. But, don't look for the Heels to go 0-3. I think this game will get ugly quick.

Keith, when are you coming to a basketball game? If you need me to get you tickets I can get GA tickets for half price bc I am a student. Let me know!

GA STATE or UGA? Dates?

Andrew and I plan on going to CAA Tournament in MAR. He's trying to talk me into the all the sessions. But, I typically like to go all SAT sessions (4 games). Last yr we went to SAT games and he talked Maureen into going to Sun Semi-finals. I instead went to C-Ville to watch Sean Singletary's last home game (a win) vs the TWERPS.
