Well I will be heading to the OBX in just two days for my 2008 vacation. It looks like we will have a pretty full house this weekend, it looks like there we have 10 people and 4 dogs this weekend an 1 outdoor cat. They will be shooting fireworks on the OBX at both the Avalon Pier in KDH and the Nags Head Fishing Pier, if you sit on the beach between the two piers you usually can see both displays. I am quite sure that we will be having some of Bobby's Burnt Burgers of Friday and I am sure someone will probably get a Lucky Dog as well. I went up and saw Colonial Heights Post 284 play last night against Hopewell Post 146, Post 284 picked up a 11-1 win. Post 284 remains in 2nd place in the standings 1 game behind Post 137, they will play the other Post 284 team on Thursday night at Shepherd Stadium. The weather looks like it is going to be pretty nice again today with highs in the upper 80's with low humidity so it wont feel to bad, the humidity looks like it is going to rise a bit starting tomorrow. Keith, Maureen & Andrew are heading to the beach today. MICKEY
