NOT THE BEST OF BEACH DAYS, EAR FEELING BETTER





Well I have to say that yesterday sure wasn't a great beach day at all. We did make down to the ocean for a while before some threatening sky's forced us off the beach, while we there the sun only made a few brief appearances as well so it felt a bit cool as well. I still have say a bad day the beach is better than a good day at home. Earlier in the day Donna, Al, Jacob, Juliane, and Amanda went to ride jet skis on the sound, I set this trip out but I have posted a few photos of there adventure. Last night for supper we all went over to the Tale Of The Whale for supper, we got there early so we could get the early bird special and we go the last large table which was available because we didn't have to wait at all. I go the steak & ribs that were very good. After supper we went and road the go carts and bumper cars, it looked like everybody had a good time doing that. There was only 1 spin out at the go carts and that occurred when the car Al & Jacob were riding in spun Donna & Juliane out, they said it was an accident but I don't know. After go cart we all headed down to the Snowbird for ice cream, I went but didn't get any ice cream. My ear is starting to feel a bit better now, it's not hurting out all but it is still a bit clogged up though, it did clear up yesterday for a while and I was able to hear very well but after sleeping on it is now clogged up again. Al, Donna, Jacob, Juliane and Amanda are heading back to CH this morning, Al has to go take pictures tonight the Virginia Motor Speedway. The weather here on the OBX isn't looking to promising today either. MICKEY

Well- all the happy Goulders and friends have gone home except Mickey.It has been a great 2 weeks.We missed Scott and the troops. However , scott would be proud on how Al was able to utilize every space in loading the car.I missed the Dust -Bag and Scottie assisting me with the yard work.
