ANOTHER GOOD BEACH DAY, I AM STILL AILING

Well it didn't look good early yesterday morning for going to the beach but about noon it cleared up and turned out to be a pretty good beach day. I even made it to the beach despite all my ailments. I have enclosed some pictures of yesterdays beach action. My ear/wisdom tooth continues to give me problems, I did take some pain killer which helped for a while but once it wore off it hurting again. We went down to the Black Pelican last night for supper and I got the classic pepperoni pizza, tonight I think mom is going to make spaghetti. Fellow blogger Keith, Maureen & Andrew headed home from the OBX yesterday afternoon, also fellow blogger Scott and the rest of his family are back home from Jekyll Island. I am trying to get former blogger Donna back on the blog, I have sent her another invite. Beside my ear & tooth hurting my right arm & shoulder are not feeling to sporty either. I did ride up the beach this morning & it does appear the price of gas & the bad economy have forced allot of people to stay home, there were allot of empty houses on beach road. It looks like the biggest crowd of the season was here last week, there were as many people as I have ever soon on the beach Friday. MICKEY

Anybody can sympathize with the sufferings of a friend, but it requires a very fine nature to sympathize with a friend's success. - Oscar Wilde

Laugh? yes laugh. Studies show that people who laugh more are more likely to be less stressed and in turn, happier people. So go ahead, read some of those email jokes that you always delete. They could be good for you!
Save Excess Water Under Sink Keep an empty gallon jug near the kitchen sink, and pour any leftover water from cooking or drinking into it. Once the jug is full, use the water on plants in the garden or home. House plants should be watered in the evening to reduce loss to evaporation.

DID YOU KNOW Ostriches kill more people annually than sharks do.

FIRST AID MYTH
Tilting Your Head Back with a Nosebleed
Nosebleeds are more common in the summer heat and dry air. Mom tells you to lean back with a nosebleed to keep from dripping blood all over your soccer uniform. Truth is, leaning back just makes you swallow blood. Yuck!
