HARVICK WINS, STEWART MISSES THE CHASE

Kevin Harvick made it a complete sweep at RIR last night winning the Nextel Cup race to go along with his Busch Series win from Friday night, Tony Stewart who was in the top 10 entering last nights race fell out of the top 10 and will not be in the chase. Kasey Kahne who was on the outside looking in before the race is now in the race for the chase. Tony's problems really began before the race when on Friday he crashed his primary car for this weekend an had to go to a back up car. Well UVA picked up there first when of he season yesterday beating Wyoming 13-12 in overtime, the way it sounded on the radio they were pretty lucky to come a way with a win in this one, but a win is a win. Next week UVA will play host to the Western Michigan Broncos who are 1-1. East Carolina lost a heartbreacker 17-12 to UAB yesterday when of there receivers fumbled the ball on the 1 yard line and the ball roll out of the endzone with about a minute to play, the play was 47 yard completion on 4th and 15 and it appeared he was going to score a TD when he was stripped from behind at 1 yard line, they just can't catch a break. Georgia beat South Carolina 18-0 last night, Georgia really dominated this game and the score probably should have scored more points. The Green Bay Packers open there season this afternoon against the Chicago Bears, the Pack have to better than last year, they sure can't be worst than last year. MICKEY

I thought UVA was playing Central Michigan next week. I don't think it really matters, they are not very good.
