VIRGINIA FALLS TO MIAMI, THE RAIN IS ON THE WAY

The Virginia Cavaliers played well until late in the game against Miami when Miami pulled away late to come away with 62-55 win. The Cavs have to learn to play the complete 40 minutes of the game, they always seem to take off about 5 minutes of every game. The Virginia baseball team will play a doubleheader today because of the impending rain this weekend, the Cavs will face Delaware and Fordham today. The Richmond Renegades will be on the road at Columbus both tonight and tomorrow night, the Gades need win to keep there hold on 2nd place because there are several teams breathing down there necks. We are suppose to have our 1st scrimmage of the year tomorrow but it looks like mother nature has other plans because there is 60% chance of rain today and a 80% chance of rain on Saturday. Thomas Dale is also suppose to scrimmage tomorrow as well. I threw allot pitches yesterday but for some reason my arm still isn't hurting as bad as I thought it would be so my PAIN index hasn't really gone up that much. MICKEY

TODAY IS
Polar Bear Day
No Brainer Day

Athlete's Foot. Athlete's Foot is a fungal infection often found in damp, dark and warm settings. Following are suggestions from the American Podiatric Medical Association to help prevent athlete's foot: do not walk barefoot in public areas like pools or locker rooms; use talcum powder to keep feet dry; wear shoes that allow air to circulate; and wear thick, absorbent socks and change them at least daily.

Vantage point
You are the smartest person in the world in your own special way. You see life from a perspective that is all your own.
There is great value in all you know, in the things that interest you, and in the experiences you've accumulated. Think of all the ways you can put that unique and irreplaceable value to good use.

See each challenge as an opportunity to be creative. Look for what you can do to contribute something positive.

Though there are many forces beyond your control, there is always much that you can do. And life at its best is about making a difference.

Conditions change from day to day and year to year, yet there is something you'll always have. You can look at life from your own unique vantage point, decide what must be done, and take effective action.

In this way you can transform it all into treasures that you'll hold dear. Be you, and be a light that shines brightly.
