RENEGADES ON THIN ICE

Well there is an article in the Times Dispatch this morning about the future of the Renegades, it appears that the Gades are skating on very thin ice and might not return next season. I have enclosed a link below to the article that appears in todays paper. On the ice tonight the Gades will face the Twin City Cyclones, the Gades only have 7 home games left and they need to win all of them. The CH girls basketball team fell to Meadowbrook last night 62-39, the CH boys team will play at Meadowbrook tonight. There is only one more week left in the season for both girls and boys teams in the regular season, the girls have 3 games next week while the boys on only have 2 left, both teams however will play in the CD tournament the following week. After temperatures in the 30's the last three days it looks like it is going to make into the upper 40's today and the outlook for the next 7 days have temps in the 50's to the mid 60's are far cry from the low to mid 30's. I sure am glad that it is Friday. MICKEY

When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened.

DID YOU KNOW
Polar bears are the only mammal with hair on the soles of its feet.

TODAY IS
Pay a Compliment Day
Lame Duck Day

Today's Entrées and Tomorrow's Sandwiches
Incorporate leftover sandwiches into your weekly menu For example, have meat loaf one night and meat loaf sandwiches the next night. Some other ideas: Spaghetti and Meatballs and then meatball sandwiches. Turkey and then leftover hot turkey sandwiches with gravy. Roast beef and then French dip.

Again
When you've successfully accomplished something once, you know you can do it again. So do it again.
It required a lot of work the first time. Yet you rose to the occasion, did that work, and created something of value.

It will take more work to do it again. And this time you have the opportunity to accomplish even more.

You know without a doubt that you can achieve. So make the choice right now to do what you know you can do.

What a shame it would be to simply rest on your accomplishment. For much of the value in any accomplishment is in the opportunity it provides to reach even higher.

Go ahead now and make full use of that opportunity. Achieve again, and again, and lift your world higher with each day.
