COLONIALS GIRLS WIN, RENEGADES BACK IN ACTION TONIGHT

The Colonial Heights Colonials girls basketball team picked up a 60-51 victory over Matoaca in there final regular season game of the year. The Colonials will probably play Petersburg in CD Girls Basketball Tournament next week. The CH boys team will finish out there regular season tonight at Matoaca and it looks like the CH boys team will face Petersburg as CD Tournament as well. The Richmond Renegades will be at home tonight against the Knoxville Ice Bears, the Gades are currently in 3rd place in the SPHL. Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch won yesterdays qualifying races at Daytona, Jeremy Mayfield & Scott Riggs both running for independent teams made the 500 as well. I went by and saw Me Ma Ruth in the hospital last night and she seemed to be in pretty good spirits for being in the hospital. It looks like she will be in there at least until Saturday and maybe longer depending on what they find on some of the tests they ran yesterday. The are still trying to find out what is causing here to have a fluid build up in her body. Well after todays temp in the lower 60's it looks like it will be in the 40's for about the next week so in enjoy today mild temp. If you have a bad day today just remember it is Friday the 13th. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has the most mini-golf courses per area in the United States. At last count, there were 47 in a 60-mile radius.

During your lifetime, you'll eat about 60,000 pounds of food, that's the weight of about 6 elephants.

You must close doors before you can open new ones.

Don't skimp on health care. Putting off doctor visits, especially when you have symptoms, hurts your health more in the long run, as does skipping medications or splitting pills to cut costs. Maintain regular checkups. Look at pharmaceutical company prescription programs if medication costs are a concern for you.

Happy Valentines Day everyone - a day early. I don't usually get on the blog on the weekends.

Hey! I remember that Henry Ford comment.

Are you recycling them? Someone get Mickey a new book of quotations.
