RENEGADES WIN AGAIN, VIRGINIA SWEEPS BUCKNELL

For the second straight night the Richmond Renegades come from behind in the 3rd period to pull out a victory this time in shootout. Trailing 4-2 entering the 3rd period against Knoxville the Gades scored 2 goals to tie the game and send it to OT in which nobody scored to send it the shootout where the Gades won the 3-2 and come away with a 5-4 SO win. The Gades are no off until next weekend when the travel down to Georgia to face the Cottonmouths Friday an Saturday nights. The Virginia Cavalier baseball team is now 3-0 after sweeping Bucknell yesterday 7-0 & 6-1, the Cavs will finish out there series with Bucknell today looking for a sweep. The Virginia basketball team didn't fair as well yesterday falling to N.C. State on the road 72-67. I did go over and see the VSU Trojans baseball game yesterday against Millersville University and it was bit cold but not to bad but the Trojans lost 8-4 & 8-1, the nickname for Millersville is the Marauders. Kyle Busch won yesterday's Nascar Truck & Nationwide races at the California Speedway and he will be looking at the Sprint Cup race to that list tonight. Have a nice day. MICKEY

Standing
The American Chiropractic Association says: When standing, keep one foot slightly in front of the other, with your knees slightly bent. This position helps to take the pressure off your low back.

How to Treat Blisters
If you do get a blister, the goal is to keep the blister from getting bigger and avoiding infection. Signs of infection include pus draining from the blister, very red or warm skin around the blister, and red streaks leading away from the blister).

Small unbroken blisters that don't cause discomfort can be left alone to heal, because the best protection against infection is a blister's own skin. However, large, painful blisters can be drained as long as you keep the top layer of skin intact and covering the blister.

To safely drain a blister, first clean the blister and the surrounding area with rubbing alcohol or antibiotic soap and water. Next, sterilize a needle over a flame until the tip glows red and allow it to cool. Finally, puncture a very small hole at the edge of the blister and drain the fluid by applying gentle pressure. Once drained, place antibiotic ointment on the blister and cover with a bandage and let it heal naturally.
